Project monitoring at Herbanext of the DOST-BIST funded project “Semi-purification of crude plant extracts: An essential step for the production of pharmaceutical-grade ingredients” and the PCHRD funded project “Development of a Turmeric Spray-dried Extract Standardized for Curcumin and Turmerin for use in Functional Foods” in partnership with University of San Agustin. The goal in both studies is to produce standardized extracts of Philippine medicinal plants for use by the pharmaceutical and functional food industries.
