Herbanext Laboratories joined the ASEAN Conference on Medicinal Forest Trees for the first time. The conference was held in Clark, Pampanga from September 5-7, 2023 and was organized by the Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

The conference featured a wide range of topics related to medicinal forest trees, including ethnobotany, conservation, and herbal drug development. Herbanext representatives were able to learn a lot from the conference, particularly about the importance of conserving medicinal forest trees and the potential of these trees to be used in developing new herbal medicines.

The Herbanext representatives were also impressed with the organization of the conference and the field trip that was conducted. They are grateful to the DENR-ERDB for a well-organized and informative event.
