Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa), also popularly known as hibiscus, rosella, karkadeh, and Jamaica sorrel, is a tropical herb traditionally used as a healthy cold or hot beverage in parts of tropical Asia, Africa, and America.

The taste of roselle is reminiscent of cranberry, hence its other popular name Florida cranberry. Spray Dried Whole Roselle Calyx Extract is a water soluble extract derived from the whole calyx of the plant. In spray dried form, it is a more stable product compared to a liquid concentrate providing a shelf life of at least 2 years for functional foods.
