Flying Dragon (Cao Zhi, Period of Three Kingdoms)

his poem depicts an extraordinary adventure of the poet and his informal education on the magical benefits of Ganoderma. He was traveling in the misty mountain of Tai when he had a rare encounter with a Taoist monk. The monk is riding on a white deer with a curiously looking magical herb on his hand. He was told that it is Ganoderma and he learned from the monk in details the magical health benefits from it.
